“And always looking for ways to get richer, apparently,” Mercedes said, her eyes scanning the paperwork.

“I take it he’s not the good guy in this situation,” Tina mumbled, looking at the photos of the person of interest, who never seemed to smile.

“That’s right, girls,” the voicebox on the table buzzed. “I gathered you here because we have a tip that Ainsworth may try to assassinate Thomas Daniels at his annual dinner party.”

“Thomas Daniels…as in MicroCenters Daniels?” Mercedes asked, raising an eyebrow.

“His competition,” Quinn chimed in once it clicked.

“Hurry up!” Santana yelled, laughing and helping Quinn out of the window. Mercedes was next and she almost tripped, considering her legs were the shortest of the bunch. When she made it out onto the grass, a trash bag was tossed out after her and she caught it.

“What the hell is taking her so long?” Quinn asked, going back to the window to look in when Tina hadn’t climbed out right after them. She rolled her eyes when she saw that Mike had appeared in the doorway of her room. Tina was talking to him in hushed tones, and though it was all very sweet, they were on a schedule.

“Tina!” the blonde whispered harshly. “Either bring him along or come on! We’re not trying to get caught here!” Tina blushed and looked at her friend apologetically before turning back to Mike.

“Come with us!” she told him.
