Finally figured out what to do with this Skins scene that’s been giving me so much grief. The chapter’s coming soon.
I’m posting the mini-sountracks to the first two chapters tonight, though. Just as a prelude.
So much later that the old narrator got tired of waiting and they hired a new one. I don’t even know what to say, other than sorry for the wait and pray for me, haha. My creativity is slowly making a comeback, and although these probably won’t be coming every day like they once did, I can just about guarantee they’ll be every week at the longest. So I hope you like this chapter, and I’m sorry for any mistakes I missed. By all means play catch-up in the tag since I’m such a mess and this took so long.
Most people in town assumed Quinn had been going through a phase when the summer began. Her hair would grow back, she’d resurrect the celibacy club, she’d re-join the cheerleading team and she’d stay away from her bad influence of a sister.
If that was the case, the phase was still going.

Sam truly believed the best things in life were free. Or cheap. He liked the way the wind picked up in the fall. It was no longer hot as hell, and it wasn’t cold; it was perfect. He liked Free Comic Book Day, which not only meant free comic books, but comic books on sale for like fifty cents. He liked pain; not in a sick, masochistic sense, but tripping and falling on a sidewalk or running into someone accidentally. Just because it reminded him that he was living; especially when it once seemed like he couldn’t feel anything.

I’m over-emotional today but I saw this and tears.
“I’m sorry, but can you get off me now?” Sam grumbled once the redhead had reattached herself to him. He wasn’t sure where Puck, Kurt and Blaine went, but everyone else was on the floor. He was only focused on one person though.
“What the hell is your problem? Once second you wanna make out and the next you’re a total asshole? I don’t need this,” the girl beside him spat, getting up and going to find someone else to attach her lips to.
Sam was good and light-headed now, with an intense gaze still fixed on the dance floor.
He’d had enough.

“Hurry up!” Santana yelled, laughing and helping Quinn out of the window. Mercedes was next and she almost tripped, considering her legs were the shortest of the bunch. When she made it out onto the grass, a trash bag was tossed out after her and she caught it.
“What the hell is taking her so long?” Quinn asked, going back to the window to look in when Tina hadn’t climbed out right after them. She rolled her eyes when she saw that Mike had appeared in the doorway of her room. Tina was talking to him in hushed tones, and though it was all very sweet, they were on a schedule.
“Tina!” the blonde whispered harshly. “Either bring him along or come on! We’re not trying to get caught here!” Tina blushed and looked at her friend apologetically before turning back to Mike.
“Come with us!” she told him.
